Juan Camilo Restrepo is a Declaration Specialist at James Immigration Law. He holds a law degree and is currently pursuing a Master’s in International Human Rights Law at Lund University in Sweden. Since the beginning of his career, he has worked with trauma victims, supporting both individual and collective struggles.

In his current role, he serves as a Declaration Specialist. Juana Rodríguez is Marketing Assistant at James Immigration Law, where she supports the visual and strategic communication of the team to clearly reflect the firm's values. She is an industrial designer graduated from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, with training and interest in visual communication, brand development and event organization. Her interest in marketing in the legal field stems from the conviction that good communication can have a real impact on the lives of those facing complex migration processes. Juana firmly believes that the work of James Immigration Law transforms lives by providing honest and humane guidance to those who need it most, and she is proud to contribute her empathy, leadership, detail orientation, organization and innovation to that mission from a visual and strategic perspective

Juanita Estrada is a Supervisor at James Immigration Law and a key member of the Removal Defense Team. Born and raised in Medellín, Ms. Estrada studied law at the University of Medellín, where she earned her degree in criminal law. Her legal career began in the district attorney’s office, and she later gained valuable experience working as a paralegal in the criminal department of another law firm before joining our team. Ms. Estrada is passionate about helping others and is always willing to lend a hand. She thrives on combining her background in criminal law with her work in immigration law to better serve her clients. She has a strong passion for leadership and is dedicated to guiding and supporting her team. Her eagerness to keep learning fuels her interest in all areas of law. Ms. Estrada is fluent in both Spanish and English and is excited to continue growing professionally as part of James Immigration Law.

Juliana Mazo is a Billing Specialist at James Immigration Law, where she manages client accounts, assists with payment and account-related inquiries, processes invoices, and ensures accurate and timely billing. She holds a degree in Business Administration from EAFIT University and has a background in administrative support and customer service. Juliana is passionate about helping others and she believes that every client deserves to feel heard and supported throughout their journey. Juliana Medina is a Legal Assistant on the deportation team, where she plays a key role in preparing and managing immigration cases. Her main responsibilities include gathering information and documentation from clients, requesting and following up on documents needed for cases, verifying that the required information is complete and organized, and keeping case files up to date. In addition, she is responsible for coordinating and following up on appointments, deadlines, and requirements related to cases, as well as organizing the necessary documentation for submission to the Immigration Court or USCIS. Her work ensures that attorneys have timely access to the information and documents needed to prepare and present cases, helping to keep case files complete, organized, and up-to-date throughout the various stages of the immigration process.

Juliana Sanz is a Document Specialist at James Immigration Law, where she supports the collection, organization, review, and preparation of documents for immigration cases. She helps verify information, track required records, and assemble case files for submission to immigration authorities. She has more than three years of experience in immigration matters, including U visas, T visas, naturalization, permanent residency applications (green cards), work permits, and other immigration benefits. Her experience includes gathering client information and supporting documents, reviewing records for completeness and consistency, and preparing case files. Juliana’s interest in immigration work grew through direct exposure to the stories of people facing complex and emotionally demanding processes. These experiences strengthened her sensitivity to the realities of immigrant communities and her commitment to providing respectful, organized, and compassionate support. She values James Immigration Law’s approach to clients and its commitment to providing clear guidance throughout each case. Karen Rivera is the Supervisor Records Specialist Team Leader at James Immigration Law. In this role, she coordinates FOIA requests, retrieves police and court records, and ensures timely, accurate documentation for immigration cases. Born and raised in Medellin, Colombia, Ms. Rivera holds a degree in International Business and brings prior experience in procurement, accounts payable, and customer service. Her bilingual fluency in Spanish and English allows her to connect with clients and colleagues across cultures. Kirsten Buell is a Case Manager at James Immigration Law, where she supports clients in deportation proceedings by preparing legal documents, managing case files, and assisting attorneys throughout the process. Originally from Miami, Kirsten earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Criminology and Sociology from the University of South Florida and later graduated from law school, deepening her understanding of the legal system and justice.
