She holds a degree in Social Communication and Journalism from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Colombia, and has worked in service-oriented companies, building experience in strategic communication, writing, and events.
Sarah believes communication is also a form of care—especially when people are facing vulnerable situations. She values being part of a team that leads with empathy, honesty, and a deep commitment to helping others.

Juana Rodriguez
Juana Rodríguez is Marketing Assistant at James Immigration Law, where she supports the visual and strategic communication of the team to clearly reflect the firm's values. She is an industrial designer graduated from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, with training and interest in visual communication, brand development and event organization. Her interest in marketing in the legal field stems from the conviction that good communication can have a real impact on the lives of those facing complex migration processes. Sara Jawhar is the Finance Administrator at James Immigration Law where i oversee the firm's financial operations. I work closely with billing and HR teams to ensure smooth processes, clear documentation, and financial transparency that supports both staff and clients. I hold a Master of Science in Engineering bringing strong problem-solving skills and a systems-oriented mindset to my role. My academic background, paired with hands-on experience in finance and operations, allows me to design workflows that are both precise and adaptable. I value the opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven team at James Immigration Law that stands beside individuals and families during pivotal moments. Maria Redondo
Maria Fernanda Redondo is a T Visa Supervisor at James Immigration Law, where she ensures every case is accurate, complete, and ready for filing. She works closely with clients and legal staff to help tell each client’s story with care and clarity, supporting both the legal process and the people behind it. Maria Fernanda holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the National University of Colombia, with a background in clinical and community psychology. Her passion for helping migrant communities began during a volunteer experience in Germany, where she supported refugees and migrants through challenging transitions. Fluent in English, Spanish, and German, Maria Fernanda is committed to making clients feel heard, respected, and empowered as they navigate the immigration system.

Carlos Monsalve
Carlos Monsalve is a Billing Specialist at James Immigration Law, where he manages end-to-end service accounts for clients. With over eight years of experience in fast-paced BPO environments, Carlos excels in billing, dispute resolution, escalations, and customer satisfaction management, ensuring services meet high global standards.
He holds studies in Accounting, Languages, and Planning, which support his technical skills and attention to detail. Growing up in a third-culture family and having traveled to more than 20 countries, Carlos brings a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and languages. This background enriches his empathy and effectiveness in the immigration field.

Elsa Roman
Elsa Roman is the Production Manager at James Immigration Law. With nine years of experience in an immigration law firm, she oversees the daily operations and workflow of the cases.
Being an immigrant herself, she is uniquely qualified to act as a liaison between James Immigration Law’s clients and the firm’s attorneys. She is dedicated to making sure all her clients are treated fairly, respectfully, and with the greatest amount of care possible. Mrs. Roman’s goal is to achieve a positive result for clients. Her motivation is the chance to change someone’s life in a meaningful way.

Simon Fandiño
Simon Fandiño the Forms Reviewer Lead at James Immigration Law. He ensures that forms, declarations, and documentation meet the criteria for each case. He studied law at the Universidad de los Andes, where he also earned a postgraduate degree in business law.
Hailing from a border city in his home country, he has witnessed the impact of immigration on individuals, families, and entire lives firsthand. This is why immigration law is so important and personal to him. He believes that his role at James Immigration Law is a great opportunity to help people achieve their dreams after enduring harsh conditions. Karen Rivera
Karen Rivera is the Supervisor Records Specialist Team Leader at James Immigration Law. In this role, she coordinates FOIA requests, retrieves police and court records, and ensures timely, accurate documentation for immigration cases.
Born and raised in Medellin, Colombia, Ms. Rivera holds a degree in International Business and brings prior experience in procurement, accounts payable, and customer service. Her bilingual fluency in Spanish and English allows her to connect with clients and colleagues across cultures.
