Brayan Cantero is the Executive Assistant at James Immigration Law, where he provides strategic administrative, operational, and financial support to ensure seamless coordination across the firm. With a strong background in operations, finance, and logistics, he brings proven expertise in contract administration, vendor management, and process optimization to his role. Brayan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Sucre and has complemented his academic training with certifications in bookkeeping, administrative management, and data analysis. His career includes experience as Operations Coordinator and Accounts Payable Specialist, where he developed solid skills in compliance, reporting, and cross-functional team support in both U.S. and Latin American contexts.

Edwin Estrada
Edwin Estrada is the Director of Business Development at James Immigration Law. He was born in Medellin, Colombia but has resided in the United States on and off since he was three years old. Mr. Estrada graduated from Florida International University with his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2005. He is fluent in English and Spanish. Coming from a family of immigrants, Mr. Estrada is uniquely qualified to represent his clients and champion for the best possible outcome for their cases. Camila Gonzalez
Camila Gonzalez Botero serves as Executive Assistant to Partner and Legal Director Yubia Wilkinson at James Immigration Law. In this role, she plays a critical part in managing executive communications, coordinating complex schedules, and maintaining continuity across daily operations. Her position requires sharp attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to anticipate needs in a fast-paced, high-stakes legal environment, ensuring that leadership remains supported and the firm’s operations run smoothly. She holds a law degree from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Colombia, where she also participated in research groups and workshops focused on vulnerable communities. In 2021, she moved to California, US, as part of a cultural exchange program. Her time abroad gave her a personal understanding of the migrant experience and deepened her commitment to justice and inclusion. Upon returning to her country, she worked with children, youth, and families in Medellín’s Comuna 13—a community known for its resilience and ongoing transformation—through House of Hope, a local nonprofit focused on creating opportunities and promoting social inclusion.

Mateo Ramirez is an Executive Assistant at James Immigration Law, where he supports the CEO directly by managing priorities, coordinating schedules, and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly at the highest level of the firm. Daniel Solano is Operations Manager at James Immigration Law, where he leads initiatives focused on process optimization, team building and client service excellence. He is an attorney with a specialization in contract law and has solid experience in U.S. immigration law, team leadership, sales and operational management.
His connection to immigration law stems from the deep purpose he represents: keeping families together through effective legal tools. Carolina Acevedo
Carolina Acevedo is the Legal Director at James Immigration Law, where she leads the legal department with a strong commitment to providing comprehensive counsel across various areas of law. She also serves as the primary liaison and mediator with external legal advisors when specialized support is needed, making sure the company operates within legal boundaries to minimize risks and support its success.

Paola Cortés
Paola Cortés López is the Accounting & Administrative Analyst at James Immigration Law team, where she provides support, focusing on process organization and efficient resource management.
Originally from Manizales, Colombia, Paola earned her professional degree and completed her specialization in Financial Management there. Her education has helped her develop a strategic and detail-oriented mindset, which she now applies with dedication and responsibility in her role.
Her interest in working in a multicultural environment like James Immigration Law comes from her passion for connecting with people, learning from their stories, and contributing her experience to meaningful, human-centered causes. Yeidy Marcela Uribe
Yeidy Marcela Uribe is an Administrative Assistant & Intern Program Lead at James Immigration Law. She began her career at the company as an administrative intern, a role in which she demonstrated commitment, responsibility, and a high sense of ethics, which allowed her to take on greater responsibilities within the team.
In her current position, she provides comprehensive support for administrative, accounting, human resources, and occupational health and safety processes, including document organization and storage, database management, payroll support, and social security affiliations, among others.
Additionally, she leads and coordinates the intern process, being responsible for their hiring, induction, support, and follow-up, providing constant guidance and ensuring the fulfillment of their duties, always under the supervision of her immediate supervisor.

Marybel Garcia Gomez is the Employee Experience Manager at James Immigration Law. She was born and raised in Medellin, Colombia. Mrs. Garcia Gomez studied advertising and marketing, human resource management, and business administration. She has volunteered in disaster prevention. Mrs. Garcia Gomez has extensive professional experience in customer service, operations management, team building and leadership. She is proficient in Spanish and English.
