Associate Attorney
Rebecca Forte is an Associate Attorney at James Immigration Law. As the daughter of an immigrant, her practice is deeply shaped by empathy, advocacy for family unity, and a genuine commitment to accompanying each client with honesty and respect throughout their immigration process.
Rebecca grew up in South Florida, surrounded by a cultural diversity that profoundly shaped her personal and professional identity. As the daughter of an immigrant, she learned from a young age to understand and value the sacrifices, challenges, and hopes that are part of the immigration experience.
That personal experience awakened her passion for defending the rights of immigrants and continues to guide her calling, especially now that she has built her life and professional career in North Carolina.
Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Criminology, with a minor in Psychology, from North Carolina State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
She subsequently earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Elon University School of Law, where she received the Book Award in Legal Writing and Communications.
She is admitted to practice before the North Carolina Bar and is a member of AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association).
Rebecca firmly believes that clear communication and compassion are essential in immigration law. She understands that these cases carry an enormous emotional burden and that circumstances can change at any moment.
Therefore, her approach is based on being completely transparent, keeping her clients informed, and ensuring that each person feels seen, heard, and respected throughout the entire process.

Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys attending festivals, theme parks, and sporting events. She deeply values family time and loves sharing simple moments, like binge-watching series with her fiancé, whom she considers her best friend.
Something that often surprises many people is that, in addition to looking younger than she is, Rebecca is a mother in every way: boy mom, girl mom, twin mom, and bonus mom.
