Outside of work, Meybelin enjoys baking, traveling, and watching movies. Baking provides her with calm and creativity, traveling allows her to experience new cultures, and cinema is her favorite way to disconnect. She also enjoys officiating weddings outside of court, a special way to accompany people during key moments in their lives. <\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

Something that surprises many people is that her first professional goal was to become a military social worker. She has collaborated with organizations such as Hope for the Warriors, IAVA, and the VA Harbor Health Care System in New York, in addition to completing an internship at the Harlem Vet Center and serving as Veterans Affairs Coordinator for ALPFA. These experiences reinforced her commitment to service, resilience, and advocacy for those who need it most. <\/span><\/p>
